As current site administrators, our presentation illuminates the powerful and adaptive work associated with leading and motivating a system toward positive change and equitable outcomes for all learners. By engaging in self-reflection, participants will identify their strengths and needs as leaders of change as well as the competing commitments that may be inhibiting their full potential. Embedded in the presentation will be a discussion of how a powerful leadership stance permeates this work. Additionally, we will explore the process of strategic planning including how to enroll and mobilize the collective enabling a system to reach its full capacity for continuous improvement.

As current site principals, we are constantly engaged and immersed in this work and have a plethora of real-world examples of all these processes including evidence of positive outcomes for students and staff as a result of our courageous and intentional leadership.
